Charter Rate

Terms and Conditions:

• The regular charter rate covers a four-hour period. This four-hour period begins at the garage. If the charter is required for a period longer than four hours, the hourly rate will apply at the start of the fifth hour of the charter.
• Provision of charter services is subject to bus availability.
• Pricing structure is approved and mandated by council and is non-negotiable.
• DRT reserves the right to cancel any charter services without notice and, DRT shall not be responsible for any losses incurred as a result of such cancellation.
• Interested applicants are required to complete a charter request form no less than seven calendar days prior to the requested charter date.
• Applicant is obligated to pay the full cost of the charter; this includes travel time to and from the garage.
• Applicant is responsible for the minimum four-hour charge for any cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the charter date.
• Any damage or excessive uncleanliness of and to the bus, caused by passengers, will be charged to the applicant.
• Smoking and consumption of alcoholic beverages on all vehicles is prohibited.
• All charter estimates are subject to change; the final cost of the charter shall be reflected on the invoice. The invoice is issued within 10 business days of completion of the charter and, payment is due upon receipt and remitted within 30 days.
